Criteria for Teacher/Coach
Criteria for Teacher/Coach
A teacher / coach has a noble task. He teaches science, educates, sets an example with good character, and also oversees the whole process in the entire educational process. The following are some of the criteria for a coach to carry out his duties.
a. Forgiving and Calm
Forgiveness and calm are the most noble qualities that must be possessed by every coach, because these qualities are goodness above goodness. Both of these qualities are very much loved by Rahman. Therefore, a coach must be a person who is forgiving and generous towards anything a child does. Be forgiving and do not give sanctions to children in a state of anger. Associate children with love and tenderness. Accept it for what it is, don't demand the most ideal, correct the behavior, correct it, and be well educated. [1]
b. Meek and Stay Away from the Rugged Nature of Bermuamalah
A coach is someone who is gentle. A child will not be gentle if the constructor is abusive in his speech. Tenderness is a quality that Allah likes. The Messenger of Allah said in the hadith narrated by Ahmad, "from Abu Hurairah, he said, we once with Rasulullah performed evening prayers, and when he bowed down, al-Hasan and al-Husain jumped on his back, then when he rose from prostration, he took both of them, then they both laid slowly, and when he bowed down, both of them returned to his back. When he finished the prayer, where the two were separated, one of them was placed in one place and the other in another place, then I came to him, "O Messenger of Allah, may I bring both to his mother?" He said, "Don't". But when the lightning shone, then he said, "Bring them to meet his mother". So both of them walked in the middle of the bright light until they entered the house. [2]
c. Heart of Mercy
Merciful is a trait that must be possessed by a coach who wants success in the coaching process. Imam al-Bazzar narrated from Ibn Umar, from the Messenger of Allah, he said, "Surely Allah does not love those who do not love their children. For the sake of the Essence that my soul is in His Hand, will not enter heaven unless the merciful. " We said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are all merciful people." He said, "A compassionate person is not someone who loves his friend, but loves all humanity." [3]
d. Piety
Takwa is an intrinsic treasure and wealth that every coach must have to bequeathed to their children, taught and implanted with them, as well as being the most important and serious concern of parents. [4] Let the parents or the coach pay attention to it, so that parents, for example, can not only open accounts in various banks, collect several plots of land and apartment buildings to bequeathed to their children, but more noble than that all are submissions to God. Allah has given us the responsibility to care for our children from the fires of hell as the word of Allah in verse at-Tahrim verse six, namely, "O you who believe, protect yourself and your family from the fires of hell whose fuel is human and stone. ; guardians of angels who are rough, hard, and do not disobey Allah for what He has commanded them and always do what is commanded ". [5]
e. Always Pray for Children
Prayer greatly benefits children and adds to their constancy and resilience. Rasulullah encourages us to always pray for the good of children, because prayer will add blessing to children. And he forbids us to pray for the ugliness of the child, as he said in the hadith narrated by Bukhari, namely, "Do not pray for the ugliness of you, do not pray for the ugliness of your child, and do not pray for the ugliness of you. against your possessions, do not let you coincide with the time when if Allah is asked for a request at that time, then God will grant your request
f. Stay Away from Angry Attitudes
How beautiful the attitude of forgiveness and anger, how beautiful the fruit of both so that the Prophet forbade a judge to decide the problem in a state of anger. Rasulullah said in the hadith narrated by Bukhari that is, "Let not a judge decide the law between two people while he is in a state of anger".
Abul Hasan said, "That is the attitude of educators to be able to produce good and reliable students, so an educator should not be able to impose sanctions on children just because they want to take revenge and anger in the chest. And if that happens, you have already sentenced you.
